USL and NASL Seasons Kickoff This Weekend

As if there was not already too much footy action to keep an eye on around the globe, USL and NASL begin play this weekend.

Team previews have almost finished trickling out at each league’s respective websites – USL NASL – and as with past seasons, matches will be streamed for free online – NASL will feature 100+ matches made available via Ustream, while USL Live returns and will continue to provide coverage of the various facets of that league.

Whether a chance to follow your local club, catch up with some MLS players of the past,  keep up with the development of young stars, or just have another match to watch, both leagues offer entertainment in abundance.

I recently discovered that Antigua Barracuda FC of the USL play out of the Sticky Wicket Stadium and that Ryan Cochrane – and his moustache, Greg Janicki, Kevin Harmse and Was Knight – all recently of Vancouver – will be taking the field for the NASL’s San Antonio Scorpions.

North American soccer runs the gambit; enjoy all aspects of the action.
