Going ahead with the get together, Wednesday, December 21st at The Duke of Gloucester – 649 Yonge St. 2nd Floor. It’s a nice central location, easily accessible, and footy friendly.
The match schedule for the day is as follows:
Man City vs. Stoke 2:40 pm
Everton vs. Swansea 4:45 pm
Newcastle vs. West Brom 6:30 pm
Aston Villa vs. Arsenal 8:30 pm
QPR vs. Sunderland 10:30 pm
I’m up for spending the entire day at the pub, so if anyone is set on catching the first match let me know - I should be able to make it barring unforeseen complications - otherwise I’ll probably try and be there for kickoff of Everton-Swansea.
Pop in whenever you like until whenever suits you. I’d guess that 7 pm or so would be prime time for numbers, but of course it’s all pretty much still up in the air.
I’ve lined up some potential door prizes, but may hold off on them until March to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the blog and the start of the new MLS season. Either way, be sure to talk to me and submit your email address, I’ll file it away and include you in the draw when it does eventually go ahead.
